DESCRIPTION:The Goulburn Model Expo is organised by the Georges River Model Railway Club and will be held on Saturday\, 29th August and Sunday\, 30th August 2026 with event proceeds going to the Kids with Cancer Foundation. The event will be held at the Veolia Arena in Goulburn and has expanded to a third hall for a bigger and better expo. \nThe Expo aims to promote the hobbies of model railways and plastic kit modelling\, fostering constructive leisure activities for young people. This years event will feature over 50 model railway layouts and other displays including Lego and radio control trucks and diggers. \nAdditionally\, an expanded selection of vendors will be present\, offering a comprehensive range of products from beginner starter sets\, tools\, and paints to highly detailed models and accessories for experienced modellers. All exhibitors will be available to answer questions. The Expo will also host a series of clinics where attendees can observe and learn various modelling skills and techniques. \nEvent facilities have off and on street parking\, disabled access and ramp. \nThe Picnic Train will run steam train trips to Goulburn on both Saturday and Sunday\, with transport to the venue. \nAs an added bonus the Goulburn Rail Heritage Centre will be open both Saturday and Sunday especially for the event.

This years event will feature over 50 model railway layouts and other displays including Lego and radio control trucks and diggers. \nAdditionally\, an expanded selection of vendors will be present\, offering a comprehensive range of products from beginner starter sets\, tools\, and paints to highly detailed models and accessories for experienced modellers. All exhibitors will be available to answer questions. The Expo will also host a series of clinics where attendees can observe and learn various modelling skills and techniques. \nEvent facilities have off and on street parking\, disabled access and ramp. \nThe Picnic Train will run steam train trips to Goulburn on both Saturday and Sunday\, with transport to the venue. \nAs an added bonus the Goulburn Rail Heritage Centre will be open both Saturday and Sunday especially for the event.
