Departing first from Sydney’s iconic Central Station behind our heritage diesels\, sit back and relax as we whisk you through Sydney’s suburbs before Steam Locomotive R766 is attached to power the train up through the Southern Highlands.  This full-day adventure winds through scenic countryside on the way to the charming towns of Bowral or Moss Vale.\n\n\n​Perfect for families\, friends\, and group outings\, this is more than just a train ride — it’s a day of nostalgia\, exploration\, and old-world charm. Watch in awe as plumes of steam billow into the sky\, hear the whistle echo through the valleys\, and feel the thrill of travelling as generations once did.Disembark to enjoy free time in either Bowral or Moss Vale\, with plenty of cafés\, gardens\, shops\, and sights to discover.
